About Collective Knowledge Advisors, LLC.

Glenn J. ForteAs Vice President for Operations for a highly regarded plastics pharmaceutical packaging firm, our founder, Glenn J. Forte, was instrumental in the successful development of its operations domain from its fledgling beginning in the late 1960s until his departure to found Collective Knowledge Advisors, LLC in 2004. He was responsible for manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing, and human resources. During his tenure Glenn directed the start-up and staffing of several of his company’s factories.  He also was responsible for enculturating the management and staff of an acquired closure manufacturing company into the culture of its parent company.  At the end of his tenure, Glenn was responsible for six pharmaceutical blow-molding factories, and two injection molding closure factories employing several hundred people. With others, he holds two U.S. patents for the design and manufacture of a unique pharmaceutical tablet container. In addition to his professional experience he is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Education degree from The George Washington University’s Executive Leadership Program.  His dissertation topic will examine the lived experience of retirement eligible senior employees who choose to stay engaged with their current employer rather than retire.  It is believed by many that as the baby boom generation begins to retire there will be a loss of experience in organizations that will be very difficult to replace. We believe that Glenn’s research on the subjects of retirement and turnover enable him to both coach individuals who are planning for retirement, and to consult more effectively with organizations that must deal with baby boom retirements, and the resulting turnover. Glenn is also in the process of becoming certified as a career, executive, and retirement coach through the Career Coach Institute.
